How to assemble a bibcock

Please prepare all required tools and equipment before assembling: a bibcock, 1pc Teflon tape (PTFE tape), pliers or a wrench, and a screwdriver.

(1). Wrap the Teflon tape (PTFE tape) around the thread of the bibcock. Please make sure you wrap it clockwise, otherwise the Teflon tape (PTFE tape) will come off while you are screwing in the bibcock.

(2). Make sure the location where you want to install the bibcock is in a convenient location, which is accessible for use.

(3). Turn off the water supply to the area where you want to install the bibcock, if you are not sure, better to turn off the water supply of your house. This is very important to avoid any water damage or leaks.

(4). Sometimes you might have to drill holes if there is none pre-drilled hole in the surface where you want to place the bibcock.

(5). Hold the bibcock in place and tighten it with the pliers or wrench. Please do it after you confirm it is secure and straight.

(6). Connect the hose or pipe to the bibcock with a screwdriver. Tighten any additional fittings until water is flowing out properly.

(7). Turn on the water supply and check if any leaks, tighten any connections if necessary.

Now you have successfully assembled a bibcock.
